My work is not concerned with modernity. What I want is neither archaic nor new, but rather
rudimentary and raw.

Each tool is made roughly, only to serve its purpose, but as it’s used to create amulets, it becomes
refined, polished. It changes from rough to smooth where needed.

How can initial mechanisms developed from the need for immediate survival evolve into something that
goes beyond self-preservation to be used for the care of others?
