As a means of achieving, completing, or promoting, the tool is regarded as function unconsciously. Millions of years ago, making tools in a planned way helped humans sheltered in places that were once uninhabitable. Ever since then, we now have time to do things beyond just survival. In 2020, I swim, looking for now in nowhere.

The tool has a certain function. But sometimes, I don’t notice its function—every Thursday afternoon, I go swimming. The uncertainty flushes me into the stream with numerous objects in my life. I float and look up at the sky that I don’t stare at the rest of the week, and melt into the moment thereafter. It’s the time to redefine the function for the tool, I guess.
